Pro Zhang has been engaged in machinery and equipment of vibration and noise control research, successively as project director and technical director for China shipbuilding industry corporation. Pro Zhang has conpleted national defense pre-research item 15 projects, 9 models and navy task 12 projects for State Commission of Science and Technology for National Defense Industry.Otherwise, Pro Zhang has won science and technology progress prize of China shipbuilding industry corporation 4 items, third prize 6 items and third prize of the national defense science and technology item 2.
In 2003, Pro Zhang was awarded the honorary title of 100 excellent doctors and masters in national defense science, technology and industry of national defense.
